Good luck to all our IB candidates!
On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Lycée Français de Gavà, we are pleased to announce the inauguration of the first year of the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme. Established in 1968 by the International Baccalaureate Organisation (IBO) in Switzerland, the IB Diploma aims to deliver a comprehensive two-year pre-university programme that challenges not only students, but also teachers to exceed their potential and develop essential skills that will benefit them for the rest of their lives.
After 8 succesful years of the implementation of Bachibac, we felt that the natural progression, as a part of our present and future academic development of our school was to widen the scope by incorpotating the IB into our school project.
Good luck to all our IB candidates!!
“I feel that it enables us to explore a more global view of the world, which makes us become more open-minded and flexible regarding the daily use of several languages.”
“I would like to share that our adaptation has been quicker and smoother than what we thought, and that the Diploma Programme seems to be a great opportunity to develop our skills, as well as enjoying while learning, as our personal interests are heard and promoted in class.”
