Bon Soleil Compassing Choir

This year Bon Soleil has launched a choir called Bon Soleil Compassing Choir with the students from 6ème to 3ème. Students came to audition singing a song they had chosen, some alone, some with the support of their friends. It was an exciting moment for the students as well as for the teachers, Ms. Siliämaa and Ms. Sanjaime, who were curious to see their desire and hear their unique singing voices.

Starting with the project for the International Children day, the choir practised the song “Imagine” with four amazing soloists and a pianist from the Lycée. That was the first time singing in front of the audience taking steps towards confidence and joy of performing.

Christmas is traditionally a time for families and friends to gather together to sing Christmas carols and songs. For generations these songs build up the cosy holiday feeling, lifting up the spirit and reminding people to sigh and relax for a while. Bon Soleil Compassion Choir practised two songs, Mistletoe by Justin Bieber and Santa Claus is coming to town, the latest in English and Spanish, to wish everyone happy holidays and Merry Christmas.
